Nour is waiting in the line for the water fountain. She is 3rd from the front of the line, and she is also 3rd from the back. How many children are in the line?

Answer: 5
Two children in front of her, two behind her, and Nour herself: 2 + 2 + 1 = 5. The tempting answer is 3 + 3 = 6 — but that counts Nour twice, once from each end.
